Electronic submission of homework and preparation of a presentation

You are required to submit your homework electronically, unless otherwise instructed, and you are required to give an electronic presentation at the end of the semester.

The subject of the electronic presentation will be your laboratory project. It should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint, and should include text, all appropriate mathematical and chemical equations, pictures, and at least one digital movie clip of a concept or procedure involved in the project. You will be given 10 minutes to present the project with 5 mintues for questions. The rule of thumb is one slide per minute, and a movie clip typically involves two minutes of presentation time. Hence, you can expect to use 8 slides and one video clip. You should make your video clip during the time that you are doing your project.

Academic Misconduct

I have a very serious attitude to all cases of academic misconduct. I will not tolerate any type of plagiarism, or other academic misconduct, during any work in my courses.

The University's Code on Academic Misconduct can be found at http://www.dosa.uconn.edu However, there is considerable detail at this site, and so the most important tenets are reproduced here: Student Code
